Hi there!

My name is Hailey Walsh and I am the owner of Miller Road Made. This is a family run business operated out of our home. My husband helps with product testing, supply and post office runs, woodworking, and any other tasks I hand over. My son sets the strict work schedule around here, making sure there is lots of time for napping and playing. Everything else is handled by myself; I am the customer service rep, quality control, manufacturer, shipper, and so on! The shop was closed for most of 2022 as we welcomed our new baby into the family and took time to adapt to life as a family of three. We then moved, which kept us even busier and we've finally set up a workspace in the new home to begin tackling your orders. We have big plans for a larger workshop on our property but for now, we'll make do with the space we have.

I have a degree in chemical engineering and while I excel at problem-solving and analytical thinking, I discovered that I enjoy creative work and entrepreneurship even more. In 2019 I left my office job to focus on my small business. I now work full-time running this shop and raising our son. I am extremely grateful for every single customer and supporter that allows me to do what I love while having the flexibility to care for our son.

THE BUSINESS

We rebranded the business a few years ago, changing the name to "Miller Road Made". Miller is my maiden name so it has a special connection to me and Miller Road is where I grew up. It's where my love for crafting began and it holds so many special memories of family, traditions, celebrations, and love. I try to put a piece of myself into everything I create and I hope you love what you receive.

And, in a fate-level turn of events, Miller Road is now where my family calls home as well. We moved into a house just down the road from where I grew up, bringing the business name full-circle.

We are located between Renfrew and Arnprior, ON. If you're local to the area, you are always more than welcome to pick up your order once it's ready. We also offer local delivery to nearby areas. We don't have a storefront for you to come and shop in person, but be sure to check out our Events page to visit us at any local markets.
